Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

contacting plaintiff after lawsuit

Hello-

Many years ago I caused a car

accident and had a personal injury

lawsuit against my insurance

company that was settled out of

court. I was hoping to now apologize

to the person that was injured by

sending a letter or card. Is there any

problem in doing so? Thank you.

Unless you were told not to contact the injured person, or that was part of the settlement agreement, then I don't see a problem sending that person a card.
