Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

my 14 year old daughter was raped by a 16 year old and the police know whho it is. he is still out here. shouldnt he be arrested and charged?

This was posted in the personal injury section, but I believe you are looking for criminal law advice. If this is not reported to the police, they will do nothing. You must report it and they will assign a detective to the case. It will be investigated from there and file any charges the prosecutor deems appropriate.
