Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

house purcase

I would like to know if I can be suewed to buy a house . we siged a purhcase agreement and I gave 1000 dollar for earnest money. I live in fl. and the house was in Mi I was working with a broker at Keller williams realors he sent me my loan papers to sign for closing and they we all wrong Icalled he said I know just sign and we will have then changed for closing , will Iam not dum Iknow you sign It is done. so I told him I will get some one else the place said you will have to make it a second home and pay higher taxes till you get there they said nothing to me about that.then a couple days later my knee went out. and Iam not sure if I need surery.and Iam out of work for a while so we did not get a new loan yet.can they make me buythe house

Under circumstances such as those you have indicated, it does not appear that you have a valid contract. It is my understanding that you did not sign the contract and in any event, sales agreements usually have a contingency of approved financing that must be met. You should have an attorney look at the contract to advise you. It is a small price to pay under the circumstances.
