Mobile contract and eviction
One year ago I purchased a mobile through the park in which it resides. My step sister in law was buying it but was losing it so I took over. Due to a famil y emergency and illness this year I got behind and got an eviction, not for the home but for the lot rent (both were behind though). If not paid, they would get an order for eviction, I couldn't raise the money so the manager called and said I had a day and a half to vacate. She also previously said that they took my sister-inlaw to court for the mobile, but I thought they could only go after anything remaining from the sale of me purchasing. Now my question is: I wasn't evicted or taken to court for anything to the mobile, just the lot, do I have any rights? I plan on paying the past due monies but I am told that something wasn't right.

A person cannot be verbally evicted. Eviction requires legal notice and a court order.
