Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

My partner and I bought a house. Due to my bad credit the mortgage and deed are in her name. We are splitting up. Can I legally recover my investment?

Unless you have a written contract, it will be difficult for you to recover your investment because contracts for the sale of land must be in writing to be enforceable.
