Property purchsed for back taxes

We are looking to purchase a piece of property for back taxes. We found out they have liens on the property. Do the liens transfer with the property?

I assume you are talking about liens other than the tax liens. Generally, the property cannot be transferred until the liens are removed (i.e. paid).
