O.W.I

I got an O.W.I in Walled Lake, MI last night. Just wondering what to expect long term.

Re: O.W.I

It all depends on your criminal and driving history, and how much over the limit you were. All agencies and courts take these charges very seriously, even for a first offense. I strongly recommend you retain an attorney. I am familiar with the Walled Lake court and actually know some of the police officers, and would be happy to assist you.

Thanks.

It really depends on what Judge you have. Judge McKenzie is very tough on alcohol offenders and you will be in for a wild ride. If not him, you should be ok if you are a first offender. You certainly need competent legal counsel that regularly practices in that Court. I have an office in Novi. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss in greater detail. Tim Klisz
