Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Renewing a judgement

I obtained and docketed a judgment in Clay County in March 1996. The defendant has an interest in a house in the county. I want to renew my judgment. What are the steps? Is there a form?

Re: Renewing a judgement

Get to the courthouse ASAP. They should have a renewal form. If you run into problems call or e=mail. Do not delay, you may have to jump through a notice and timeline issue.

WHy renew it? WHy don't you collect it?

Call or e=mail for assistance.
