boating with a toddler

Can one man take a 2 year old boating if noone else is in the boat.Also what happens if he is drinking and drives with a baby on board? either car or boat?

There is no law against taking a toddler on a boat so longas all laws including those with regard to proper loatation devices are followed. There is also no law against consuming alcohol. However, it would be child endangerment to operte a car or a boat while intoxicated.
