Child Support

Is there any possible way to reduce the past due child support I owe, I am a business owner that is struggling and it destroys my ability to obtain credit with nearly $40,000 in arrears showing.

That depends on who the support is owed to. You can always reach an agreement with the other parent to accept a lump sum in an amount lower than the arrears. However, that is a profduct of negotiation. If the state provides assistance in any way to the other parent, the state must also agree.
