Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My husband adopted my daughter and my ex's mother had granparents visitation. I was wondering if she still was able to act upon that court order considering she is no longer her family according to the law. And my daughter was adopted.

You would be well served to have an attorney review the Court Order under which the grandmother is granted grandparent visitation. Without reviewing the specific court order, I can tell you that in general, under Minnesota law, the adoption of a child by a step-parent does not void a grandparent visitation order.
