Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Moved out of state-mother won't allow visitation

I pay child support and have visitation rights. I have recently moved out of state and the mother will not allow the child to leave the state in order for him to come visit me. Is she allowed to do this, and do I still have to pay support if I'm not being allowed to see the child?

A lot depends on what the custody order says. Regarding child support, though, the laws of most states are clear that you still have to pay child support even if visitation is being denied.
