Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Ex moving out of state (visitation changes)

Does my ex have the right to move out-of-state and keep his current visitation without going back to court? The move is across state lines but only a half hour away.

Re: Ex moving out of state (visitation changes)

It depends where he is moving. If he is going to be only a half an hour away, there should be no reason to change his visitation schedule. If he made a larger move, like to California, you would probebly need to attempt mediation before going back to court.
