Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Pl,ease point me in the right direction

I just went through a divorce and I basically gave her all the materallistic things she wanted to just get it over with because she wanted her new life with someone else. We have a house left between us and she thinks she can just walk away from the debt and leave it with me. We have the house with a second mortgage with her name on both loans. What can I do to save my credit and still make her pay her fair share till the house sells. The second mortgage payed off alot of debts like furnature, stocks and other items that she walked away with and she doesn't think she is liable for any of this. I need some options, I was told that I could sue for half of the second mortgage but I don't know, I just don't want my credit ruined. I told her I would refinance the house if she paid me half of the second mortgage and closing costs to get her name off the note but she thinks I'm trying to rip her off. She walked out on me and I'm getting stuck with everything. I don't mind not having the materialistic things, but she expects to walk away free and clear with me eating all the debt. Please give me some ideas.

Your divorce decree will control what happens to the house and who pays the debts associated with that house. If you did not include that asset or specify a disposition for that asset when you concluded your divorce, there may be any number of issues. In fact, it is impossible to conclude whether you can or cannot require your ex to be responsible for the debt on the house without reviewing your decree.
