rights while on probation

I am on probation and want to be granted legal custody of my daughter. is there a law that could stop me from that, even if their mother fights against me?

Re: rights while on probation

There is no law that would preclude it. However, the underlying criminal charge, if relevant to parenting, may be argued to be evidence that it is not in the child's best interests to award you custody.
