Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I am a veteran, and i was discharged form military and recieve disablity from the VA and from Social security for PTSD with anxiety and severe depression. I was married in 2005, and started receiving the disability from both in like 2006. If I get a divorce can my wife file for alimony against me? She hasnt worked at all since we have been married.

I�m sorry, but it is pretty hard to predict what would happen without more information. My best guess is that your disability payments are barely enough for you to live on, and you wouldn�t have much cash left over to pay maintenance. Further, you weren�t married terribly long. Maintenance awards for short marriages are usually small in both amount and duration.
