Grandfathers estate

My mother and her sibling died. There are two remaining siblings. my grandfather died. Are my siblings given my mothers portion of the estate or is the estate only split between surviving siblings. There is no will.

All words have legal significance when you say siblings I need to know what you mean. I would need to look at the family tree etc. I believe it would be best to have a sit down with an attorney or a telephone conversation.

Under our intestate statute, your mother's children might take her share of granfather's estate; but I would need more data to know that for sure.
