My husband is going to be receiving a large inheritance from an estate. Legally, am I entitled to half of it, or is it specifically his.

In a divorce situation, there are certain categories of property that are considered non-marital. That means they are presumed to be the property of one party or the other. Inheritance is such a category. It is up to the person claiming the non-marital designation in a divorce to provide evidence of that characteristic.
