Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

New Ulm Attorney

I am in need of contacting the New Ulm attorney that represented my sister, Diane Skalicky prior to her death in January of 09. Please contact me at 507-433-1833 or send me a copy of her will @ 602 22nd St NW Austin, MN. 55912. As her brother, I am her only living survivor, other than my children. I also need to know if I will need to probate?

Re: New Ulm Attorney

I'm guessing you haven't been able to find the original Will that your sister had?

If that's the case you might need to start contacting attorneys in New Ulm to see who did it.

Yes, you will have to go thru probate but the question is whether it can be done informally or formally. Depends on what is in the Will.

If you have the Will you can have any attorney help you out. But if you can't find the Will you'll need to find the attorney that did it. But the attorney more than likely won't have the original, which could be a problem.
