I have a small wood working business and am getting tired of all the work, my friend want to buy it, what are my steps to sell it?

Is the business incorporated? It it an LLC? Do you have contracts? Standing Orders? Equipment? Are you selling the name as well as the customers?
There is simply not enough information to properly advise. Please contact an attorney to properly advise you on the transfer. As a small business, it is highly unlikely the consultation and documents would be an expensive undertaking and would be well worth it
