how long does grand jurys have

I was arested dec.1-2002. Charged with dog fighting. Supposed to be turned over to grand jury in april or may 2003. never seen judge or dont know if grand jury has seen this yet how long does sheriff have to either indict you or drop. is there a time limit to this and how can one find out what the deal is.

The surest thing would be to call the DA's office and ask if there are any charges pending against you. If there are, you will be asked to turn yourself in.

Statute of limitations on dog fighting would be 2 years from the date of incident.
