Re: Headstone for my husband

In Mississippi, your husband's children and you own his remains and you may have some legal rights to use of the plot arising out of an agreement between your mother-in-law and you. If there was no such agreement and if you cannot reach an amicable agreement over time, consider submitting the issue to someone to mediate or arbitrate; or wait until she passes away to place the headstone you want.
