Legal Question in Personal Injury in Mississippi

mOTORCYCLE aCCIDENT

An elderly lady went thru a stop sign and hit me on my motorcycle. Police found her at fault. Her insurance agreed to pay. I sustained a broken tailbone , roadrash and severe bruising of buttocks. Insurance companies best and final offer is $2331.00 which covers all my medical, $6820.21 which covers my 5 weeks of lost wages and 12,000.00 for pain and suffering. They refused spousal lost wages for $457.00(my wife took 2 weeks off to care for me) and they also refused future medical which I asked for $2000.00. Is this a fair settlement in total ?

Thank you

I'm inclined to say yes, and believe that you probably don't need an attorney (based on what you've told me), but there are other factors to consider (though you do seem to have a pretty good grasp on matters).

I'm in Biloxi and do practice in Hancock County. Look on page 59 of your new Real BellSouth Yellow Pages, or page 56 of your new Gulf Coast Yellow Book, and call me on my toll free number. I'd list the number here, but this Lawguru.com service doesn't permit it. Anyhow, I'll give you a free telephone consult. Again, I feel pretty certain that you're O.K. (don't need an attorney), but I want to ask a few questions first and it's too much for me to type.
