Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

My child was posted on the website thedirty.com. Many people have commented on it. She is 17 years old. Since then she can't sleep, cries all the time, is embarrassed to go to school and talks about dropping out because of what the kids are saying about what was written on the site. Is this not a form of bullying and is there anything I can do? I've already requested to the man who runs the website to remove her post. He refuses. My daughter is a minor. Isn't there any protection for children from sites like this??

Most school districts in Missouri have a no online bullying policy. They may assist you in getting to any classmates that were responsible for the posting. If you daughter has undergone therapy for the stress or mental injury from the positngs, you may be abel to sue the webmaster or owner of the site. If any of the comments are sexual in nature, you may report the site to the US Attorney's Office Child pornography section.

Good luck
