Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Background check question

my case was continued so i can get an estimate on the damages of the vehicle i hit. My question is, I will get and suspinded imposition of sentencing and unsupervised probation for 2 years until i can pay the guy off. I have the biggest job oppertunity of my life and i need to know if either will show up on a background check? since there is no conviction will the sis or probations show up? this is very important.

Re: Background check question

The case against you is probably already amatter of public record. The pendency of the case may take some more digging to discover. Whether they will find it depends upon how hard they look. If they want to find it, they probably can. You can look on Casenet, and see what you can fidn under yoru name(s).

Good Luck

You do not tell us what you are charged with, or if you have an attorney representing you. In any event, if your job opportunity is important to you then you should hire an attorney to represent you in any pending criminal case. This is not something that you should try to handle on your own with a little free advise from this website. Please take my advice and consult with an attorney.
