Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Need Help!!

I am in the state of Missouri and I have been charged with armed criminal action and kidnapping. I was accused of these crimes by my wife, due to the fact I caught her on a date with another man. I was wonder how can I kidnap my ''own'' wife, when we were still together and she states I took her at gun point out of a crowded pool hall. Can you help with answering first How I can be charged with kidnapping when she left on her own and no weapon was used.

Re: Need Help!!

First of all it would be necessary to know exactly where in the state of Missouri you are, what County are you facing these serious charges in, have you been arrested, have you made bond, have you made statements to the police, and various other matters. If you have a valid defense to the charges against you then you should certainly hire an attorney to defend you. If you do not have a defense to the charges against you you should still hire an attorney to negotiate a disposition of the charges on your behalf. If you cannot afford an attorney, you should apply for a public defender. If you are not already represented by counsel, you may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.
