Legal Question in DUI Law in Missouri

Missouri Limited Driving Privlidges

I have a felony DUI conviction and have lost my license for 10 years. The department of revenue states that one cannot be given an LDP with a felony conviction. The conviction however was 5 years ago, and I would simply like to be able to further attend school. Which would be imposible without driving. My record has been completly clear since I was charged with the felony 6 years ago. I have since gotten my GED and Graduated my local comunity college with high honors. Is there anything hiring an attorney can do for me?

Yes, there is a statute which allows someone to Petition the Court for relief from the actions of the Department of Revenue under certain circumstances. Consult with an attorney.
