Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My 17 year old grandson wants to live with me. He's currently living with his mother and step dad in another town in Missouri. If he refuses to go home, can the police arrest him for being a runaway and can I be in any legal mess by letting him live with me??

No, at this age it is unlikely that he will be charged as a runaway and for you to be charged in any fashion.
