Name Change

I have been divorced for five years now. I have decided to change my name back to my maiden name. How do I go about that in the state of Missouri?

Re: Name Change

In Missouri you can file a Petition with the Circuit Court in the County where you live and in most cases the Judge will grant the change of your name.

Re: Name Change

You will need to file a Petition for Change of Name with the correct court. Pursuant to Rule 95.01, the Petition shall be verified and shall state certain information. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to learn more or need any help.

Thanks,
