Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Custody

I have submitted in writing to my x, as stated in my divorce decree that I will be moving in 90 + days. He doesn't want me to move away with the kids. What can he do to stop me? According to the decree it says that's all I have to do with out being in contempt. Should I just go ahead and move and wait for him to hire an attorney? I have offered different custody arrangements - I have them during the week and he on weekends but he has not agreed. What do you advise I do at this point?

Re: Custody

If you have complied with the Relocation Statute, then your children's father has thirty days from receipt of your notice to file his objection to your relocating with the court. You will be served a copy of his pleading and a summons if he does so. Then, you should hire an attorney to represent you.
