fradulent funds withdrawing by ex-spouse

My son's ex-wife transferred funds from his bank account without his permission. She changed his password and transferred the funds. He had asked the bank to remove her name from the account 1 1/2 years ago, showed them the divorce papers and they would not do this. Last week she transferred over $3,000 to her own account. What can be done about this?

First, he might be able to sue her for conversion of his money. Second, he might have a cause of action against the bank. Third, he might want to report this to the law enforcement authorities because she might have violated the law in electronically getting to his funds by changing his password.
