Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

guardianship

My aunt is mentally handicapped and her sister is caring for her since their mother died. She can't afford an attorney to obtain legal guardianship - is there a way she can do this legally without an attorney? If so, where can we get the forms? Legal Aid is too busy to help her, is there maybe another way to obtain help for her?

Re: guardianship

I believe that there is an office of the state mental health administrator at the old state mental hospital number one down on Arsenal street. If you look up the number and call them, they might be able to help you. Good luck!
