Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Reversal of child custody order

I am the Uncle of the child in question. I wanted to know what are the chances of getting a child custody order reversed. My sister recently lost custody of her son to the father due to circumstances they called detremental to the child. The mother is 90 pounds and the dad is a 100 pounds and the docter says that the child is not growing as he should because he is five and has the weight of a three year old. but all kids do not grow the same and could--name removed--it be that he is small because the mother and father are. Also we weight him every other weekend because that's when we get to see him every other weekend, but since they've had custody he has only gained 2 pounds and the father has had custody since the first of January 08 till present. Is there anyway to make a compelling plea to the judge and I also forgot to mention mother has had full custody of child from 0 to 5 yrs old and to all of a sudden lose him is devastating. Also can you recommend a good lawyer for this case that is located in or around St. Louis.

There are not enough facts in your question for me to provide any type of response other than the fact that I handle custody disputes and you may call me for a consultation.
