What are the legal ramifications of moving out with a child before papers are filed for a separation or divorce?

Initially the parent who has physical custody of the child at the time of filing has presumptive legal custody. This can change once a visitation/custody motion is filed. But, if a parent leaves with a child and files for divorce, they get custody until the court is persuaded otherwise.
