suing from another state

i live in california and i need to take legal action against someone who lives in the state of missouri. is it possible for me to do that from out of state using my daughter (a resident of missouri) as my representative in the court of missouri? and if so how do i do this?

You should post the question for an attorney in Missouri. If it concerned real estate and the suit were in CA, you would be able to have a representative in small claims court.
