Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

Construction Fall

I was hired by an individual to oversee the construction of thier home and to do basic carpentry fill in items, such as infill framing, doors, windows, siding, deck ect. During the process of puting in one of the patio doors, I fell from the deck 11 feet onto a concrete slab shattering my calcaneous. I was hospitalized for 3 day's and will be unable to walk for 6 months, with surgery following that. building is not my full time accupation, I am a minister and do building to help supliment my income. Is there any help for me from the owners , homeowners insurance, that will help me while I am down. such a disablity, medical.

You should probably contact an attorney. Whether homeowners insurance would cover your or not is something that I can't discern from the facts you've given. It is also possible that you are a "statutory employee" under workers compensation, and may have rights there. I would urge you to contact an attorney and schedule an appointment to get assistance with this issue.
