injury in grocery store

can i file a law suit if i was in a store to get something when all a sudden i open the cooler door and a whole six pack of beer fell from top shelf falling to the floor and cutting my leg and foot in 3 places leaving blood on the floor but did i not seek medical attetion

Sure you can. That case is worth about $300 or so, and will cost you five times that to pursue to conclusion. You can file a lawsuit, but economically, it will not make sense.
