Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

My wife began an emotional affair which may have become a sexual affair with a co-worker in June 2010. She admitted to intentionally leaving emailson her phone and love letters and cards around the house to see if I would find them (which of course I have), then accused me of spying on her. She has also told me that she and the other man laugh about the "game" they are playing on me. She has never admitted to the affair, unfortunately, but I can prove that she has lied to me on several occasions about her whereabouts and about phone calls she has made, information that she knows I can access easily.

I am interested in the IIED or intentional infliction of emotional distress law in Missouri. Upon discovering the affair (in October), I became severely depressed and have been seeing a therapist and my physician has also doubled my dosage of anti-depressant. I lost ~15 lbs right off, and my work effort has also suffered.

What can you tell me about the likelihood of winning such a case against her and the other man, how much it would cost, should I not do it since her assets are currently also my assets, are there other legal remedies I can use, particularly against the other man.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
