Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

Rights to majority owner

My family and another jointly own a piece of property which lies between our houses (we own it jointly, the property is not subdivided). I own 2/3rds of this property and the other family owns the other 1/3.

Because I am the majority owner of the property does that give me any more control over the use of the property than the minority owner? (Such as in controlling who camps on this property.)

Re: Rights to majority owner

Your question does not adequately describe how the real estate is owned for an attorney to properly respond to your question. Perhaps if you would include the exact language from the deed to the property we could provide a legal opinion. I would suggest that you take the deed with you to a consultation with an attorney and obtain an answer to your question.
