Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

I was away on vacation, unbeknownst to my property owners, and during that time paving was done in our complex. We returned from vacation to find a notice saying that our cars had to be moved or be towed as a consequence. Obviously, I could not have moved them, but they did not know that. My cars were not towed to an off-site location, just to a different location in the apartment complex. Could the apartment complex be charged with anything (trespassing or breaking and entering)?

Under the facts you descibed, there was no trespassing, as it appears that the property onwer gave the pavers permisiont ocome and do the paving. If the Property owner did not tell the pavers they could come and pave int eh complex, then trespassing may have occured. You did not mention that anyone's home was broken into, so ther eprobably wa snto breaking and entering. If your vehicle was damaged by the towing, you might have a civil claim, but you did not seem to ask about that.

Good luck
