Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Living Will

I want to prepare a will on line. I am divorced with 23 and 19 years old children. What forms should I fill out if I want most of my assets to go to my kids, but want them to get the money in thirds when they are 25 30 and 35. Also can I name two person jointly to be the executors of the will? Also the names of the forms for directing my wishes on health issues.

Re: Living Will

There is much more to preparing legally enforceable documents such as Wills, or Trusts, or Powers of Attorreny than filling out forms that you can find on one. I advise you to hire an attorney. It is extremely likely that any form that you fill out on line will not be legally sufficient. The cost of hiring an attoney to do these things professionally will be very modest and will assure that your wishes are actually fulfilled.

Re: Living Will

You can create a lot of problems for your estate by relying on on-line form banks. I would highly advise you to consult with an estate planning attorney to draft a will for you that is specific to your needs.

As far as the health directives - usually, the state attorney general's office will maintain these forms on their website. However, if you are going to have an attorney do the will, you might as well have the attorney prepare these documents as well.
