If the first name is misspelled in a Will (name starts with a K but was typed as a C in the Will), will the beneficiary still get the inheritance?

This is unfortunately, a common occurrence. The intended beneficary woud lhave to make claim for the benefit (if the Persoanl Representative refuses to pay or transfer the property). If the testator (person whose will it is) is still alive, they can provide a notarized affidavit to explain (if not correct) the misspelling. Otherwise, the determination as to whether the person will get the benefit comes down to how well they can prove they were the intended beneficary and the testator or scrivener (attorney or his secretary) made a typo.

Good luck
