Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri

My husband got hurt at work on 07-07-03 his employer did not want him for workmans comp and said he would pay for his treatment he got hit in the mouth broke his jaw fractured his gums and split the gums into knocked out several teeth on top and bottom his employer became unreachable when it got the the expensive work we filed workmanscomp on 09/07 they said as long as he had work done and the employer pd within 2 years of filing we had a case he had dental work done and the dentist kept records showing his employer pd in 2006 we got a lawyer in the 2 years since we never here from him we even got letters form the court stating when the mediatons was I'm guessing they got postponed we never heard from lawyer about them then we get a letter stating his employers lawyer wants to cancel because of time frame and our lawyer wants us to voluntarily dismiss the case we even received a letter from the court awhile back stating they were going to drop the case because our lawyers were not responding to them should we drop the case or get another lawyer he still has mouth pain and is missing a lot of teeth.

You may need to have another attorney examine the facts of your case. Do this as soon as possible. You need to mitigate your damages. tis may be case of legal malpractice, and the time frame for bringing such a case is short. There may yet be time to preserve the work comp claim, so do not delay.
