Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri

I recently fell at work, resulting in a broken leg and dislocated anlkle. My question is, should i retain a lawyer now at the begining of filing a comp claim, or should I wait and see how everything is handled?

I would strongly advise you to hire an attorney as soon as possible. You will not have to pay the attorney anything out of your own pocket since the attorney will represent you on a contingency fee basis taking his or her fee out of any final settlement or other recovery made on your behalf. The attorney can definitely give you the advice you need right from the very beginning of the process and help in many ways to make your life easier. Also, following good advice may help you to maximize the amount you finally wind up with after everything is said and done. If you do not already have an attorney, I would be very happy to refer you to one of the very best in the state of Missouri. You may see a lot of advertisements, commercials or other communications from attorneys trying their best to get your business. Be careful. I will send you to an attorney who will absolutely put your best interests first, and you will be glad that you made the right choice. Please feel free to contact me at any time, and no matter what you do, good luck.
