You need to offer to return to work in writing. In the letter or fax, mention your previous calls to tell them you wre released to worka nd are willing to work. You also may need to hire cousel to deal with the employer for you.

Unfortunately, it is rather common for an employer to fail or refuse to put an injured employee back to work. The employer just hopes the injured worker will get tired and go away. You should contact an experienced workers' compensation attorney to document your availability to work. In Missouri, an injured worker must show that the job injury was the singular reason for the job termination in order to win a wrongful termination case. Proper documentation is essential.
