Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Montana
police force
Had our vehicle stolen a year ago on new years eve. Officers know who stole it and they have a warrant for their arrest. They have not arrested them and the officers told my husband that they know where one of them is staying but they are not going to pick him up until he breaks the law again. Can you tell me if we have grounds to sue ?

Re: police force
if they have registered the criminal case against them and not arresting them for their crime then you can file a writ petition against the agencies and police to be directed to arrest those persons and bring them to justice.
