My Wife and I have Legal Custody of our three Granddaughters, we let the middle one go stay temporarily with an aunt out of state and she has took it upon herself to try and get legal custody of the child what are the proper procedure we need to go through to get her back if she tries to be difficult?

As long as you have custody of the children and no legal document gives the aunt visitation rights or other, you can get the child back right now. If she files for custody/guardianship, you will have to defend and show that the children are fine with you (or other facts, depending on the situation and why they are with you in the first place).
