Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nebraska

pay check advance companies

I owe several on-line paycheck advance places the amount of the extended loan plus the fees. I got wrapped up so tight in this that I can't see my way out. I have been having the fees electronically debited out of my checking account and can no longer keep up. I plan on paying each and every person back, but want to do something to stop the fees. If I close my checking account and set up payment plans with each pay check advance company, what will happen? Can they take me to court for not paying right away? What is the general law regarding pay check advance businesses?

Re: pay check advance companies

You entered into a contract with them when you got the first money. I need to see that to advise you. You may have a way to negotiate reduction, even if you don't file Bky.
