Legal Question in Family Law in Nebraska

One child in CA, one in NE

My fiance and I have a three year old son living in CA. While he was away at school he got another girl pregnant in NE. We found out about the child last year 9/01 when they served him papers at my parents house. He is paying child support based on NE law about 500 a month. It is more expensive to live in CA then NE so Im wondering if there is any legal way to get his payments lowered. We can barely pay for daycare for our son because so much of his money is going to NE. How do the courts determine the amount a father must pay and are other children considered? What if we decide to have another child together, will that child change the amount he must pay to NE?

Thanks for any advice or information you can give me.

Your 3 year old son got a girl pregnant? Must be a big boy. The support can only be lowered by a NE court. There is nothing that can be done in CA.
