Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nebraska

removal

Thank you for replying so quickly to my post...I appreciate it. Here are the details to my case. I entered the U.S. April of '05. I married a U.S.C. in Egypt Oct of '03. We were divorced by Aug '06. We had applied for adjustment status but we never finished the process and missed the interview since we seperated and I moved states. Thats why my application was denied. In Aug 9 2008 I married my current wife a U.S.C. and Aug 23 2008 I recieved notice of removal proceedings and was giving a court date. On Feb 23 2009 My wife and I had our baby girl. If there is any advice you can give I would appreciate it. Please let me know if you need more information.

Re: removal

When is your court date? Is your wife a U.S. citizen? If so, has she petitioned for you? If not, she must do so immediately. By the time you get into court, hopefully your petition is approved and you will be able to apply for adjustment of status before the Immigration Judge. Second, make absolutely certain that your new address is registered with both the USCIS and the Immigration Court. If you wish, contact my office and ask for Monica who can set you up for a telephone consultation, okay? I handle cases all over the country. Make sure, if you wish to get an attorney, that he is a good one. Good luck and take care.
